2009 Commemorative Lincoln Cents
The United State Mint released four new reverse designs in 2009 commemorating the centennial of the Lincoln Cent,
and the 200th Anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth. Issued in three month intervals, the new designs were replaced in
2010 by a new permanent design. The first new reverse celebrates Lincoln's birthplace in Kentucky, picturing a log cabin
highlighting Lincoln's humble beginnings. The second coin reflects his formative years in Indiana of work and education.
The third coin depicts his professional life as a lawyer and state representative at the Illinois Capitol. The fourth and final coin
represents Lincoln's Presidency with a depiction of the Capitol Dome in Washington which was built during the Civil War.
We have available the coins in uncirculated condition, as well as holders to display your coins.
